Aurora Music and Jared Shapiro provided the ceremony and cocktail hour music at my daughter’s wedding at the West Mountain Inn in October 2016. Their beautiful music was definitely one of the highlights of the entire event. Jared was extremely easy to work with, very knowledgeable and professional, and also very responsive to accommodating several contemporary song requests that they needed to learn to play. Everyone was very impressed. They are highly recommended and you will not go wrong if you book this group for your event!

Thank you for the beautiful music provided by your string quartet. It made the ceremony just perfect...every note augmented the beauty of the Vermont setting. We had several very accomplished musicians as wedding guests and to a person they were impressed by the quality of the musicians. And the music during the cocktail hour was joyous and celebratory. It was a pleasure to do business with you; from the selection of pieces, the business aspects, and the performance you were a joy to deal with. Thank you for all that you and the musicians did to make this celebration the perfect romantic Vermont experience.

What can I say?! You guys were INCREDIBLE last night! Thank you SO much for playing at our ceremony and reception. The repertoire was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for - it really made the night magical.
I hope we stay in touch and that we get to hear you play again in the future!

Jared Shapiro played two Bach unaccompanied cello suites at my husband’s memorial service, and two years later he, and a violist and violinist played more Bach at my mother’s memorial service. His beautiful playing not only paid a special tribute to my late husband and mother – who would have loved hearing it – but gave all who attended the services an experience that will resonate long after the spoken words are forgotten.

My husband and I would like to thank you for the beautiful job you did with the music for our ceremony! It was just as I thought it would sound and helped make our special moment so much more memorable!
Thank you again!

Jared Shapiro and musicians provided our wedding music at First Congregation Church and the music for our reception at the Equinox.
Jared was attentive, professional and helped us realize our vision for the day. He and his trio played beautiful renditions of music that we selected for our wedding and were able to seemlessly transition into a more upbeat but elegant series of jazz and salsa influenced pieces for our reception.
Jared worked with us in a thoughtful and supportive way. He always picked up the phone and returned our calls promptly to discuss our music selections, go over logistics and made helpful suggestions which made the process feel like a creative & collaborative one.
I highly recommend Jared and Aurora Music Productions for any Vermont wedding event.

We did not know too much about wedding ceremony music, but we knew we didn't want a standard line-up of songs, we wanted to have some different choices. Jared was fabulous in suggesting additional processional and recessional marches that we loved; music that had not been overplayed at every other wedding. He also incorporated the traditional Pachabel's Canon, which was the couple's favorite piece.
Our church required that we hire their organist even though we were planning to have string instruments. Jared spoke directly to the organist to coordinate all the music. This helped us tremendously, especially since we were from out of town! It was a pleasure working with such a professional group; Aurora made the string music at our destination wedding surreal!
